From today, every project on the platform that serves the public is hosted completely free of charge. No fee and no credit consumption for hosting — the bill is covered by 3D Kod EOOD.
Who it applies to
- Education — schools, kindergartens, universities, community centres and educational programmes.
- Healthcare — medical establishments, emergency centres and preventive-care programmes.
- Regional development — municipalities, local initiatives and projects for the development of towns and villages.
- The judiciary — courts, prosecution offices and institutions supporting the administration of justice.
- State institutions and their structures that work directly with citizens.
What exactly is free
The project runs on our machines, on its own address, with a certificate and with backups — and none of it is charged for. The daily hosting fee is not applied, and the database, the files and the functions spend no credits.
Credits are still spent only on building the application itself and on the artificial-intelligence answers inside it. That cost is real and we cannot absorb it — but it is one-off for the build and predictable afterwards.
Why we are doing it
Public institutions here work with budgets in which the line for software is usually the last one. The result is visible everywhere: systems from fifteen years ago, spreadsheets instead of registers, and people doing by hand things that should not be done by hand.
We cannot fix that. But we can remove one of the obstacles — the monthly bill — and leave the only question to be whether the system does the job. If a school, a municipality or a court ends up with a working system because hosting stopped being an expense, that is our resource well spent.
